This story takes place about 15 years ago. My husband and I were living in Phillipsburg, New Jersey. This is the only time I can remember having a psychic dream.
The dream started out with "me" facing a 20-something-year-old woman and she said defiantly, "I'm not afraid of you." She was sitting on a couch in a living room looking straight at me. I realize I'm seeing this whole thing through the intruder's eyes.
The intruder answered, "Good. I'm glad you're not."
A little back and forth arguing between the two. Then the intruder crossed the room, walked over and took a rubber band and from the front and strangled her with it. The dream was so vivid and frightening that I woke up.
I looked at the clock and it was 4:00 in the morning. It took a little while but I finally fell back to sleep.
When I awoke at 10:00 a.m. I turned on the news. A woman, one town away from me, was found strangled at 4:00 in the morning. That is the only psychic dream I've ever had.
