Astrology of the Day – Venus into Sagittarius - 1st December 2017

The Moon is in Taurus today, a sign of stability and you'll find that those born under the sign of the bull don't hurry, they take their time and they'll get to their destination when they want to, and not when you tell them to. There is a steady as you go feel about Taurus and Taureans, they like things as they know them to be, and are in general distrusting of change. This is a sign of peace (although a raging bull is a fearsome creature to oppose) and of touch and feel, this is an earth sign and the bull actually likes getting it's hands dirty and sensing what it is dealing with through sensory means rather than through what is thought or implied, and such are our needs through this day. 

For the most part of the morning the Moon makes no contact with any other planet and we can go about our business in an orderly fashion. The first connection made is an inconjunct to the Sun, and here is slight friction as an inconjunct links two solar bodies in incompatible signs, and so we may feel a little uncomfortable about something, as if we are unable to understand or grasp an idea or a concept. The Moon the opposes Jupiter and this will ask us to seek out knowledge and wisdom to try and understand more fully what is going on. At the same time the Moon forms a sextile to Neptune, and things allows us to visualise and use our intuition and imagination to solve the problem. Hopefully, this will allow us to come to an answer. Late in the day the Moon forms a favourable trine to Pluto, bringing a lovely intensity to the end of the day. There is intrigue here of the unknown and the darker side of life, we want to understand how to play the power games and we want to explore our sexuality. 

Mars and Uranus are still in a tense opposition, but now we can exploit the tension and the need to experiment and be a bit different in a much more constructive way, and have some fun too into the bargain. This is confirmed as Venus the planet of love moves into the party sign of Sagittarius. If ever you've hared the phrase free love, here it is in all it's glory. Sagittarius is the sign of expansion and Venus will want to explore and to experience and both of these social indicators will definitely want to have a good time. With Jupiter and Neptune in a lovely expansive trine too, it's time to crack open a bottle (or two), and enjoy your Friday evening ;)
