Soul Cage - Oracle Of Mermaids

In the legend of Merrows, we mermaids of Ireland's wild and lovely west coast, there's a dark underside - Soul Cage.  These are underwater prisons, where men are held, between the worlds, prisoners of the jealous Merrow-men . Under the waves, the Merrow-men entraps the princes of earth in cage of kelp & coral- The soul cages of Legend, in which the prince lies suspended between life & death.

But every men kidnapped and thrown into the  Soul Cage, there's a Merrow-maid, who will free him from this antediluvian dungeon, swim him to the surface, & start his heart once more with kisses that are part song, part spell. When the breath of man & Merrow unites, the prince returns alive once again, forever changed. 

The Soul cage card comes to you are living half life - or when you know someone is doing so. The Soul cage is the one that keeps you from extending your reach, keeps you in a comfort zone, that may seem to reduce potential dangers and harms to you, but at the end means you have lived neither fully awake, nor fully asleep.

You have chosen suspension and compromise and Merrows are here with this card to awaken you to the prison, and ask you if you are ready to swim free and be reunited with you passion and purpose.  There will be dangers and adventures and moments that hurt - but free of the soul cage. 

There will be bliss, exploration, discovery and laughter..

The Soul cage is very compromise, you've ever made that cut a little of your soul off,  every time you lied to keep the peace. It's the job you took because you thought, you'd never make a living, doing what you love. It's every piece of unnecessary insurance we are sold, every time we are told to live in fear, and every time we are encouraged by our culture to live as though, as we are in great danger. This card and the Merrows, now ask you, Do you wish to free yourself from the Soul Cage? It need not to be done all at once, for there many bars, many chains and many locks, But little by little, they'll help you to rediscover the joys of living, according to the stories the soul wants you to tell. And you'll be free..

A bathing beauty keeps a close watch over her "baby" a thick skinned, stripped alligator is hatchling. The young reptile's sharp teeth and rough exterior are in sharp contrast to his mistresses delicate loveliness. 

Life is though and lately things have been taking their emotional toll.  Yet in-spite of everything, you are doing all right

You are not just a victim of your circumstances - you are a survivor, Like alligator, you have the courage, the strength & hardness to deal with challenge, and to handle life's setbacks with renewed determination.  You've been blessed with all the tools necessary to maintain sense of wellbeing. Be it patience, determination or even sense of humour in the face of adversity, you have what it makes to remain resilient, even though the tough times will not be going away anytime soon, focus on your resilience and you will come out stronger.

No one likes the idea of rejection or abandonment and it's only natural to try to build a wall of armour to minimise your risk of getting hurt, But remember sometimes you need to be vulnerable, to trust that others will honour, respect & love the authentic you.
